“ My partner and I shared a large cod and chips with curry sauce. It was cooked fresh to order, the fish was lovely and crispy, the chips were delicious, and the curry sauce was amazing. Definitely the best fish and chips in Great Yarmouth, and we think the best we’ve had in the UK. Excellent, five stars! And to top it all off the owner was such a lovely man, we will definitely come again. ”
“ Had lunch here today on a rainy day in Great Yarmouth. We asked the owner of we could sit outside with our dogs, he invited us and them inside We ordered cod and chips and plaice and chips, they were freshly cooked and the portions were HUGE! (Hubby was very happy, he got his lunch and half of mine. The dogs were happy, they got chips). Lovely owner, lovely atmosphere, tasty food and dog friendly, what more could anyone want xx ”
“ Visited here early evening on New year's Eve, They were very low on stock but quick to tell us and try and accommodate our needs. This obviously meant the food was cooked fresh and was absolutely delicious, The chips were unbelievable haven't had chips that good for ages, And I tried the plaice Which I wouldn't normally choose but it was amazing and so decent size, really impressed with this chip shop - And so much better than the very big brand chip shop two or three doors down from it ”

“ Rarely do I give a full top star review however having visited many seaside fish and chips this has to score highly on many counts. Price wise, certainly onr of the cheapest and best value in the town. Portion size worth the money and recent customers love the fish size. The fish was melt in your mouth good, seriously.. and no oily after taste like some can leave you. There is free car parking nearby. Everything was made fresh to order. The pie again similarly perfectly cooked. Any dietary requirements just simply need to be mentioned when ordering. Whilst it is not the biggest plaice, there is indoor and outdoor space. On this occasion, I did not have a dessert but these may be well a try. From 2 fat foodies and their dog, well done ”
“ Was a new find for us as an extended family. Our usual chip shop in Gorleston was closed. Tried based on good reviews. Please don't be put off by sign of cafe not thinking it's not really fish and chips. They were utterly delicious but what made it even better was the service. Owner couldn't do enough for us, portions were so generous, and I won on the spin the wheel!. Will return next trip to Yarmouth. ”

The fish and chips were cooked fresh when ordered and the fish especially was the best I’ve ever had from a chippy - flakey and tasty. It seemed very fresh. Really, really gorgeous food made fresh, great selection of items with kids options making it really family friendly and a member of staff/owner who was outstanding. Had written made with the love on the box and it felt like it. Really friendly, welcoming, enthusiastic even when obviously really busy. I'd really recommend adding this place to your must-visits if looking for food in Great Yarmouth! ”
